To Get to Know More about Experimental Poetry :)

In November, just like every year, Sylva Lauerová joined the national festival “The Day of Poetry”. This time she prepared a lecture on an extravagant subject – experimental poetry, and gave a great performance for students of the Grammar School of Jan Blahoslav in Ivančice. The lecture took one hour and a half instead of initially planed forty-five minutes because everyone was eager to hear more about this avant-garde matter. The atmosphere was outstanding and the students were excellent listeners. The experimental poetry, poetical games and traditional Czech verses – all of this amused the visitors of The Gallery Aviatik in Prštice – the place Sylva loves to return to every single year. The audience was listening to onomatopoeic or aphonic poetry and algorithmic poems, admired calligrams, created Dadaistic poetry, and enjoyed the pleasant and family-like atmosphere.
